The Discraft Challenger OS is an even more overstable Putt & Approach disc than the original Challenger.  Many disc golfers do not use this disc inside the circle for putting, but more for a great headwind approach shot.  The glide is unreal for a putting disc that allows for some excellent forehand shots along with hyzer putts.  While it's very overstable, the possibility of a putter being a meat-hook is very hard to do and this disc is no exception.

What does OS stand for in Challenger?  Overstable.  This means it will take more force to flip the disc and turn it right if thrown as a right-hand forehand shot.  When a disc is overstable it's normally considered an intermediate/expert disc since a large amount of force is required to throw it without meat-hooking.  The Challenger OS is a putter and putters already are easier to throw which allows the less skilled/powerful throwers the ability to place an overstable disc in their bag.

PLASTICS AVAILABLE FOR THE Discraft Challenger OS

A member of Team Discraft, Dan Schlitter enjoys the feel of the putter as he finds it to have slightly more stability in his throws, especially for those spin putters.  It's overstable and reliable providing the ability to withstand wind.  Dan also uses it within the green providing him with fewer strokes.  Here are the current plastic choices for the Discraft Challenger OS:

Another member of Team Discraft, Jared Pittman belives the disc is the best throwing putter he's ever used.  Jared goes on by saying it has a stable finish with a straight flight no matter the different types of ways he throws.  Just believes it's a truly awesome disc he places in his bag.
