Approaching the basket, and still being aggressive is when Westside Discs Mid-Range come in handy. From popular models such as Bard, to a smooth sailing Warship you won't go wrong getting to the basket while navigating the course. Westside Discs Mid-Range come in two major plastics, VIP & Tournament.
Westside Discs VIP Mid Range Discs have superior durability which can last a lifetime! This VIP plastic has sightly less grip than Tournament, but the amazing durability along with a smooth feel with transparent plastic pulls in many buyers. It also tends to not be as flexible for plastics; on the stiff side.
Westside Discs Tournament Mid Range Discs have the grip, have the durability and have the flexibility allowing them to be the premium plastic choice for Westside Discs and many in the Disc Golf Community. If price is not an option, the Tournament is always a good choice.
There are flight ratings on the disc which tells you the Speed, Glide, Turn and Fade each individual model. For Mid-Range Discs the Speed is which puts them into this category. The range of speed to be categorized starts with 4 such as the Anvil and all the way up to a speed of 5 such as the Pine. Due note, faster speed does not mean farther distance, especially for an individual with minimal throwing power. These discs are molded to provide distance, but with precision accuracy allowing you to park your disc. Remember, lighter discs will provide beginners an easier and provide a rewarding experience.
The Westside Discs MidRange will have a wider rim and normally a longer length as well, but not always. The wider rim allows for less potential of flipping a disc or going sky high and plummeting into the ground. Many people suggest beginners to use a Mid-Range for there driving, mid-range and putting to learn and grow into the sport of Disc Golf. Find your Westside Discs Mid-Range that suits you best!
