Innova XT Atlas (Overmold)

The Atlas is one of the very few overmolds made by Innova.  It consists of two different plastics, one on the rim and another on the plate of the disc.  The company MVP has pushed there product calling it the "Gyro" and actually has patented technology mainly why you don't see many overmolds on the market.  On the underside of the rim, there are four 'compass' points on the disc to help secure the two plastics together, hence the name, Atlas.

XT Overmold Plastic

This plastic is of mid-grade quality offering additional grip and durability compared to the Innova DX plastic-type. It performs excellently in rainy weather as it’s not affected when wet. The go-to plastic for bad weather conditions. The overmold has two different plastic types providing the best of both worlds!
