This is the first Mid-Range disc in Discmania’s Active line of discs. This disc has a bead that leps with flight allowing for a smooth release along with a low profile for a Mid-Range. The Discmania Maestro is a slower mid-range than most that provide a straight flight with minimal fade at end of flight. Most mid-range discs have a large diameter, but the disc does not provide a more comfortable grip and control when thrown.

The original disc name was the Spring Ox and was renamed to the Maestro when the addition of the premium plastic was released.
