The Discraft Avenger SS is an understable Distance Driver suited well for beginners and intermediate disc golfers.  The original which is no longer available in stock, but occasionally in SE molds, the Avenger, was an extremely popular model.  This is why Discraft crafted the SS - Super Straight version.  This disc has become even more popular than the original and the reason why they retired it.  The Avenger SS is a very friendly beginner disc allowing relatively anyone to get max distance capabilities out of the disc.

Speed: 10   |   Glide: 5   |   Turn: -3   |   Fade: 1   |   PDGA Approved

This understable beast of a Distance Driver is perfect for the beginner and intermediate players looking for some easy max distance.  The SS - Super Straight provides just that in the disc, but with power, it will turn to the right. (Or left if you're left-handed)

PLASTICS AVAILABLE FOR THE Discraft Avenger SS

The disc is not meant for expert throwers so the more premium molds have not been stock for Discraft, but they do throw some of the flares into the mix.  We're still awaiting a Big Z artwork as it just feels right.  Here are the current offerings of the Avenger SS:

A Member of Team Discraft, Liz Carr-Sypien says it's her favorite disc since it's so versatile.  It's Liz's favorite turnover, low flip-up, and roller as it has so much potential and possibilities.  The no-need snap to fly straight is something she loves and adores watching a roller roll for miles.  Another Team Discraft Member, Elane King belives the Avenger SS was a terrific addition for Discraft.  If you haven't noticed, the reviews are from women, who generally don't have as much power.  Elane likes how right out of the box it will fly straight instead of buying a normal Avenger and trying to beat it in.  She doesn't have time for all that, Elane wants to shoot well whenever she plays Disc Golf!
