The Discraft Pro D Cyclone is an overstable Fairway Driver that has been around for over 20 years.  It has a thin rim compared to other fairway drivers and is extremely easy for beginners to throw.  The disc was first launched as the legendary long range driver, but we all know evolution has run its course and the Cyclone is considered a Fairway Driver now.

At the present moment, there is only one plastic type being produced for the cyclone.  While this is a Fairway Driver, it uses to be one of the all-time favorites back in the mid-'90s as the most popular disc.  It's very easy to control disc which was perfect for all the new players coming into the game.  Here are the plastic offerings:

A Member of Team Discraft, Peter Middlecamp actually still bags the Cyclone as it was one of his first discs back in the day.  He uses it as a standard upon how all other discs should compare up-to.  It's never found the way out of his bag for all these years.   We have a feeling this disc will be retired soon after Discraft runs out of the overstock they currently have.
