The Discraft Surge is an overstable distance driver well suited for intermediate/advanced disc golfers.  It's a driver with a moderately sized rim with a high degree of turn along with great glide.  The Surge was a very highly sought after disc however with all the new launchings, it's been put on the side, but hasn't changed its flight at all.

This overstable monster of a Distance Driver is excellent for the expert disc golfers in the world.  The glide is on par with the best out there providing minimal turn and a moderate amount of reliable fade at the end of the flight.  The rim is different than any other distance driver out there as you will know it's a surge when you pick the disc up.  

PLASTICS AVAILABLE FOR THE Discraft Surge

Discraft for whatever reason has not crafted the Surge in many plastics.  There have been some random runs of different special Surge discs that had a run, but never became stock.  Here are the current offerings of the Surge:
