The Discraft Zombee is a slow stable flying Fairway Driver released in the 2012 Ace Race. It's has a straight flight path with a small predictable fade at the end of the flight. It's a great stepping stone disc for beginners ready to start placing more understable discs in their bags. It's not fully there, but the transition just feels right for many players. Very strong arm throwers still find a use for it but are crafted for the beginner/intermediates in the world.
Speed: 6 | Glide: 5 | Turn: -1 | Fade: 1 | PDGA Approved
Discraft yet again has provided Disc Golfers with a straight stable flying Fairway Driver that is so close to a Buzzz! They realize the bread n butter disc is so amazing, they just tweak it slightly to allowing for other discs to snag some great glory. The Zombee is exactly like its name, slow. This provides an easier throwing experience that you will see a predictable fade. Some still consider it an undertable disc, but it's borderline to the stable side.
While catching eyes may be due to the name or due to the great flying ability, it's been provided currently with 3 different stock plastics available. Throughout the years, the USA has had there fair share of Zombee movies and the disc suits the flying characteristics perfectly. Here are the current offerings for the Discraft Zombee:
