Discraft Z Mantis
The Discraft Z Mantis is a stable Fairway Driver that's reliable and beginner-friendly. It was first released in the 2013 Ace Race in Titanium plastic. The disc is a straight flyer with great glide. It has a low profile that has a slight dome providing what we believe is more than a rating of 4 in the glide category. The excellent part about the Mantis is even if your form is not fully locked in and the disc is not thrown flat out of your hand, this disc does a great job of correcting itself in flight.

Z PLASTIC
The most durable of the plastics Discraft offers is the Z plastic blend and works great for the Z Mantis. It’s a translucent plastic uses brighter colors in general that are very stiff. It’s mainly used for Distance Drivers and Fairway Drivers, however, they use them for Mid-Range and Putters at times. Its stiffness is the key strong-point along with amazing durability.
