The Discraft Crank SS is a stable Distance Driver that provides players with not enough power to throw the Crank into another option. The SS - Super Stable or Super Straight version is great for advanced disc golfers looking to up there game on the distance category. It's the perfect disc for flip-ups on hyzer releases. The Crank SS completely feels and flies like a high-speed driver, which it was meant to be.

This is the newer member of the Crank family. Only time will tell if they provide the Discraft lovers with an OS version, but we don't foresee this as the Crank already is pretty overstable. The SS provides an easier throwing ability for all skill-levels, not just the power throwers. This is a reason more players are throwing the disc as it's just performing well on the course for them.
Still relatively new for the Discraft line-up, it took a back seat currently by Paul McBeth's line. Discraft has been excessively busy this year compared to last and the staffing is just not there. The hopes were to expand the Crank SS plastic lineup, but current as it stands it seems there is a stand-still. Here are the current offerings for the Discraft Crank:
A member of Team Discraft, Brandie Myers likes the high-speed turn in the disc making it excellent for bombs. When Brandie has space, it's the longest shot possible in the bag. Another Team Discraft member, Wesley Shinevar loves how the understable disc complements the Crank. It's slightly less stable in flight making it perfect for flex distance shots. The Crank SS fits comfortably in his hand giving him the full potential for max distance. It's his favorite disc for backhand roller shots.
